Stylish, contemporary renovation of traditional Salcombe Villa

Breath-taking views over the Salcombe estuary greet visitors to this lovely property located in an elevated position which captures the special light of the seaside. The new interior designs had to do justice to the 'wow' factor of the location, and the client knew they wanted the house to be on a par with their main London residence in terms of high-end design quality and contemporary style of bathrooms and kitchen fittings.

The three existing traditional bathrooms along with the kitchen and utility were replaced in their entirety with new design layouts and bespoke fitted furniture by bespoke joiners Goss Joinery, and high quality tiles, sanitary ware and brassware included Kaldewei and Phillippe Starck fittings. The feature lighting was by Tom Dixon and the decorating scheme was selected from Farrow and Ball range of paint. The existing wooden floorboards in the hallways and Living Room were stripped and resealed, and a new robust selection of carpeting throughout the stairs, landings and bedrooms was supplied by Start Point Flooring
