In our experience, most things in life work best and give the most pleasing results if there is good communication and a happy team. And the same is true of building projects, no matter how large or small.
From the very start of a project, we engage in a dialogue with our clients to evolve a clear design brief, ensuring we understand your ideas and ideals, and you know what we will bring to the project
Clients find they can save a lot of time and expense if they bring in the right design professionals from an early stage. Allowing enough thinking time at the outset to explore ideas and options can be time well spent. Defining the scope of the project involves key decisions on timescale, programme and budget, and anticipating changes & their impact. We are able to work with you to ensure this process is efficient.
We provide a full CAD design service & all information to realise the project, ranging from mood & product boards, 2-D and 3-D visualisations, scheme & detailed design drawings, and lighting & electrical layouts to Planning and Building Regulations applications. 3-D visualisations are shown here of a current project for brand new garden design working with MGM Landscapes. We like to work with other professionals and crafts, and working collaboratively with people we know and trust gives our clients confidence in excellent results. Some of our projects show examples of specialist joinery by Devon businesses Shawstephens, Goss Joinery, Couch Joinery, and Maitland Roberts.
Our professional fees are time-based and bespoke to each project. No two projects are the same and our professional fees are directly related to the time involved and tailored to your individual project. We endeavour to develop a transparent brief and fee structure and keep you informed of any variations.
One of our core values is a sustainable approach to design. Our clients play a key role in the process, & we want to work together to allow for improvements to the building fabric & future-proofing the infrastructure, product traceability, and reducing the carbon footprint.
